We’re excited to partner with Cara Can Cook to bring hands-on cooking experiences to the Kaboodle community, along with a growing library of educational videos on our website.
These workshops and videos are all about building confidence in the kitchen, learning new skills, and having a great time doing it. Whether you’re trying something new or sharpening what you already know, Cara’s approach makes cooking feel approachable, fun, and completely doable.
Cook, Learn, Gather
Online Education
From short videos to deeper dives, we’re working with Cara to bring ongoing, ingredient-focused cooking education to our website and her social channels.
In-Person Workshops
Cara hosts monthly, live, in-person workshops in Portland, with offerings that range from kid-friendly classes for ages 3 and up to adult-only experiences.
After School Program
Starting in March 2026, Cara is launching a pilot program called “Food Science Fun,” designed to help elementary-aged kids explore nutrition and science through hands-on learning.

Meet Cara
We’re proud to partner with Cara, the creative force behind Cara Can Cook. Based in Portland, she’s a home chef and food educator with a gift for making cooking feel approachable, engaging, and genuinely fun.
What we love most about Cara is her ability to take deeper techniques and break them down into something anyone can understand and use. Whether she’s leading a hands-on workshop or sharing thoughtful, in-depth content online, her focus is always the same: helping people feel more confident in their kitchens.
When she’s not teaching classes, you can find her diving into ingredients, methods, and kitchen fundamentals on social as TikTok and Instagram. It’s the kind of content that makes you want to try something new the next time you cook.
