The end grain of wood is the hardest part, harder than edge grain or top grain. That's why this beautiful board is composed of solid, end-grain acacia; to provide years of use while still being gentle on your fine knives. The striking appearance, with each board being unique, makes this board ideal for both food prep and for serving. Just use one side for cutting, the other for presentation. The moat around the edges will catch up to 6 ozs. of liquid. The board measures 24" x 16" and is 1" thick.
