This 7.5"-square e-cloth is designed specifically for cleaning eyeglasses, camera lenses and copier glass, surfaces that have protective coatings. The length of the microfibers and the softness of the cloth ensure that the lenses and the coatings are protected while cleaning. In fact, e-cloth recommends not using their other cloths on eyeglasses and the like, as the longer microfibers in those cloths can trap dirt and dust that could damage the protective coatings on the lenses. This cloth, used dry or wet, leaves your glasses smudge-free, lint-free, and streak-free clean<BR><BR>An e-cloth is not just another microfiber cloth. Advanced fiber technology and superior chemistry are used in the manufacturing of these cloths to produce amazing results. e-cloth's fiber composition, fiber size, fiber processing and density of cloth combine to allow e-cloth to achieve extraordinary cleaning and drying, outperforming all other cleaning cloths and cleaning methods. e-cloth fibers are designed and fabricated to provide maximum cleaning and drying power. Made primarily from polyester and polyamide, the tiny e-cloth fibers are 1,000 times finer than cotton fibers, about 1/200th the diameter of a human hair. These fibers are the smallest manufactured fibers in the world. Each e-cloth is fabricated to have as many as 3.1 million fiber strands per square inch of cloth. Nearly 500 million fiber strands are in each cloth. e-cloth's filaments are so small and so strong that using just water they break up, lift, lock in, and clean deep down into the tiniest grooves and crevices. Dust, grease, oils, grime, dirt and bacteria are quickly and easily removed and locked away deep inside the fibers until the cloths are rinsed or washed. With an e-cloth, surfaces are cleaned so effectively that there is nowhere left for bacteria to grow. Surfaces are left polished and totally smear and lint free. e-cloths rapidly absorb 7 times their weight in water and remove over 99% of bacteria.
