Oskar teapots are a creation of Milan-based designer Geroge Sowden, with a purity of design and function that makes them beautifullly simple in appearance and in use. The porcelain pot holds a tall stainless-steel infuser with hundreds of tiny holes. The holes allow hot water to thoroughly circulate around loose tea leaves while capturing the leaves to keep them out of the tea. When steeping is complete, simply remove the filter along iwth the tea leaves and you're ready to pour. The handle on the Oskar teapot is hollow to prevent it from getting hot. Both the pot and filter and dishwasher safe.
