The beautifully-designed Nespresso Pixie coffeemaker is a little work of art, containing a thermoblock heating system that takes just 25-30 seconds to come up to brewing temperature and an auto-shut off that powers off the machine after nine minutes to conserve energy. Coffee making is controlled by just two push-buttons, one for a short shot of espresso, another for a larger, lungo coffee. Both buttons can be set for your desired coffee volume. Two back-lit LEDs tell you if the easily removable, 24-oz. water tank at the back of the machine is full or needs filling.
