Here's a great way to make cupcakes even more fun. With the simple cupcake corer you can make perfect holes in the center of cupcakes to fill with icing or edible treasures, such as chips or nuts. It's easy to use; as you can see from the picture above, all you need to do is position the corer in the center of your cupcake and push down on the plunger. When you retract the plunger, you'll have a cleanly-cut, cylindrical hold in your cupcake, ready to be filled. You'll also have a cylinder of cake that you can give to the kids and call a cupcake core (sort of like a donut hole).
