Emile Henry Ceramic Cookware 4-qt. Risotto (4574-61) Emile Henry, the French maker of traditional Burgundy clay dinnerware and bakeware, developed the world's first stovetop ceramic cookware. Called Flame-Top, this cookware, made from specially tempered Burgundy clay, cooks beautifully on all types of stoves, from gas to halogen (except magnetic induction), and goes in the oven, too. It's also safe in the microwave and goes in the dishwasher and freezer. Made from clay, it's much lighter than traditional cast-iron ovens. The beautiful, dark-red color makes it ideal for "one-pot" cooking; saute on the stovetop to start, then finish in the oven. |
