It features a shape that's part santoku and part chef's knife, with a broad edge that lets you to chop by pushing the blade, but with enough of a curve to enable the classic rocking motion. It's a great knife for slicing, chopping, mincing or dicing vegetables, fruits, meats, and herbs The blade's width also makes it ideal to crush garlic with the flat of the blade.
