Very cool! This folding stand securely holds your cookbook, or your iPad or other tablet if you're cooking digitally. It opens and closes like a book, folding up into a book-size "volume" you can store on your bookshelf or in a drawer. Just open both "covers" and the back support unfolds automatically, as do the two little "wings" that keep book pages from turning on their own. There's even room at the bottom for a charging cable if your digital device is low on battery power. Rubber feet keep it from sliding on the counter. 15" x 8.25" in the unfolded position.
