Bodum Bistro Drip Coffeemaker (11001-01US) To see the Kaboodle selling price on this item, just click on the "Add to Basket" link next to the price above.
The Bodum Bistro re-thinks the drip coffeemaker, both in design and in performance. The striking appearance speaks for itself; the performance is top-notch in all the details. Using a powerful spiral heating element, the water is heated close to a boil and - with a glass pipe transporting it over to the coffee filter - loses very little heat on the way. The water gets distributed evenly over the ground coffee, at an ideal temperature of well over 194º F, via an easy-to-clean shower head made of plastic and silicone. The titanium-plated, fine-mesh, stainless steel filter keeps the coffee pure in taste, with no paper filter needed. Coffee drips into a plastic thermos with a double-wall stainless steel lining and stays warm with no heating element to cook the coffee and alter the taste. The thermos comes with a spout that keeps the heat where it belongs: with an easy press of a finger it opens for pouring. The compact body of the Bistro is made from rubber-coated plastic and measures 8.25" wide 12.25" deep and just under 16" high. |
