Not only does the VacuVin provide an airtight seal on an opened bottle of wine, it creates a vacuum in the bottle, preserving flavors and bouquet. It takes just seconds to use; first simply insert a soft rubber VacuVin bottle stopper into the neck of the bottle, sealing it tight. Then position the VacuVin "pump" on top of the stopper and move the plunger up and down a few strokes. This removes the air from the bottle and creates a vacuum. When you're ready to pour a glass, just squeeze the stopper to release the vacuum and pull it out. The VacuVin preserves wine for up to several days.
